Salvatore Ferragamo Ad – Product Photography
This ad sort of created itself. An odd surreal look of heels on a mirror to produce a strange effect where the viewer sees and recognizes the form of the shoes, yet the twist of the reflection has the brain working. With a simple two point light source the heels stand out against the black, the leopard pattern playfully drawing the eye in a circle around the heels over and over. I believe this to be an effective ad combining an arrangement of shoes casually tossed aside with the unexpected element of the mirror and reflections. One of my favorite pieces to shoot and work on.
